It’s not every day you ask your older brother's teammate to be your fake boyfriend. But desperate times call for gorgeous, impulsive measures.

Miles Garrett is a pro basketball player with a heartstopping smile and infamous cocky charm.

But to me, he's always been more than a celebrity. Miles is the guy who puts friends and family first…and my college crush.

When my sorority sister decides to bring my ex to our reunion, I need a plus-one who can have my back and save my pride. Asking Miles is the perfect solution.

Until he raises the stakes for both of us.

He says he’s only playing to win. He'll be the best fake boyfriend I've ever had.

But his gaze hunts mine across a crowded room. He protects me with a fierceness that steals my breath. Our just-for-show kisses ignite a wildfire inside me.

I’m fighting feelings that have been simmering for years. Soon our pretend relationship starts feeling dangerously legit…

Because it’s hard to fake what’s always been real.

Five star sports romance with fantastic narration!

This is the first in the Denver Kodiaks series. Miles is such a great character and I was so glad to read his story. He comes to Brooke's rescue on multiple occasions and I absolutely love his need to protect. The chemistry between these two are off the charts. Simone Lewis and Tim Paige do a fantastic job narrating and bringing these amazing characters to life. I would highly recommend this five star sports romance!

Heartstoppingly desirable.

With endearing humor and sultry temptation, Hard to Fake wraps itself around the heart. Lawson plays the perfect cat and mouse game with emotions. Brooke and Miles teeter between adorably, clueless and heartstoppingly, desirable. Their tango of love is irresistible, unpredictable and unforgettable.

Narrators Voices are Perfect for the Story

I adore Brooke and Miles! Their chemistry is just as hot and spicy as ever, but they are such a slow burn! Simone Lewis and Tim Paige are the perfect voices to narrate Brooke and Miles! They fit the characters so well. I never wanted to stop listening!

Got me deeply invested

Miles and Brooke's story begins, and I am here for it. Attraction and chemistry burns brightly between these two and the sparks they generate are fierce and fiery. Both characters are extremely likable, and they seriously had my heart simply aching for them. The smart and snappy combination of banter, emotion, humor, drama, spice, intensity and twists got me deeply invested and passionately rooting for this pair. Of course, that left me eager and anxious to find out what happens in book number two. The performances given by the narrators were very well done and I thought that their voices fit these characters beautifully.
